Jesus draws me to Himself

O Jesus draw me ever deeper into your Eucharistic presence,

Let me listen to your silent heart beat and know your Love!

Let me be still and know that YOU ARE GOD!

I am an empty, waiting vessel, fill me with your grace,

use me to save souls!

Please keep Bishop Frederick F. Campbell of Columbus, Ohio in your prayers today. Our Bishop is having surgery today and has asked for prayers. Thank you and God bless you!

Remembering St. Catherine of Sienna

Born: March 25, 1347 - feast of the Annunciation

Feast day: April 29th

Prayer:

Humble virgin and Doctor of the Church, in thirty-three years you achieved great perfection and became the counselor of Popes. You know the temptations of mothers today as well as the dangers that await unborn infants. Intercede for me that I may avoid miscarriage and bring forth a healthy baby who will become a true child of God. Also, pray for all mothers, and all those hoping to be mothers that they may bring new life into the world. Amen

Patron Saint against miscarriage:
Catherine of Siena

Eucharist and healing of the tongue

When I receive Holy Communion, I entreat and implore the Saviour to heal my tongue, that I may never fail in love of neighbour.

Saint Mary Faustina notebook 2. 590

___________________________________________________

Humility is truth, and Saint Faustina sees clearly where she stands in need of the healing and grace of the Eucharist. Her feelings reflect a soul sensitive to what can harm charity, and damage or wound a neighbour. Indeed the human tongue can be very destructive and inflict much pain upon others. We must strive to always speak the truth in and with love, but being mindful of the reverence we owe to others and being careful to avoid making them feel diminished in anyway... it is a real art to learn to use the tongue well ...Of ourselves we cannot achieve a victory but in and with Jesus we can! and that is why we need to receive him in the Eucharist.

Saint Polycarp

Lord, almighty God, Father of your beloved and blessed Son Jesus Christ, through whom we have come to the knowledge of yourself, God of angels, of powers, of all creation, of all the race of saints who live in your sight, I bless you for judging me worthy of this day, this hour, so that in the company of the martyrs I may share the cup of Christ, your annointed one, and so rise again to eternal life in soul and body, immortal through the power of the Holy Spirit. May I be received among the martyrs in your presence today as a rich and pleasing sacrifice. God of truth, stranger to falsehood, you have prepared this and revealed it to me and now you have fulfilled your promise. I praise you for all things, I bless you, I glorify you through the eternal priest of heaven, Jesus Christ, your beloved Son. Through him be glory to you, together with him and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

The beauty of Catholic Marriage Ministry

Last week I caught a little bit of "Life on the Rock" and they were interviewing the founder's of "The Alexander House", they are a wonderful ministry bringing prayer support to Catholic Marriages. This is a very encouraging mission that has a spiritual connection with Hannah's Tears as the cross of trying to build a family can weigh down a marriage unless we have prayer support and communication. Hannah's Tears is all about praying for the sanctity of Catholic Marriages and Family Life, let us also see the beauty of this beautiful ministry within the Catholic Church.

Catholic Marriage Ministry

Prayer Partners

We believe that prayer should be the foundation of ones live as we see it as being an essential part of the ministry of The Alexander House. Jesus encouraged His followers to pray at all times and “not to lose heart” (Luke 18:1), and 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to “pray without ceasing.” In James 1:5 we also discover that prayer reveals God’s wisdom to us. Prayer allows us to discern and define our ministry, so we can’t accomplish God's work without continually seeking the guidance of God.

It is our great desire to have you partner with us in prayer—to commit to praying for marriage and families, and to pray for the ministry of The Alexander House as we minister to and serve the faithful around the world!

We are in need of "Prayer Partners" to pray for the request for prayers, for marriages that we receive.

We are in need of "intercessors of the Alexander House". These individuals would pray specifically for the well being and needs of the Alexander House.

If you are interested in becoming a Prayer Partner or an Intercessor for The Alexander House you can subscribe to the e-list group below and you will receive the requests as we get them. Thank you in advance for your willingness to pray for others in need.

To become a "Prayer Partner" send an email with your email address and name by clicking here.

To become an "Intercessor" send an email with your email address and name by

To request a prayer send an email with your email address and name by

Prayer Intentions for the Alexander House are:

  • Please pray as we seek financial partners to help us create and implement the Covenant of Love Marriage ministry.

  • Pray for the growth & expansion of the Alexander House as we are in need of a Business Development Director.

  • Pray for the development of a new ministry called the Marriage Disciples.

  • Pray for funding for special projects.

  • Pray for leadership to emerge for the growth of the Covenant of Love throughout Latin America.

  • Pray for the various website projects to be developed so that the Alexander House and disseminate solid marriage information and so our ministry will reach more people.

The Alexander House Prayer

O my God, into Your Hands, I ask that You guide the Alexander House and those involved in its efforts to serve You and fulfill Your will. I ask that You direct and protect them through each day, by the merits and intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and of all the Angels and Saints, from all vicious and unruly desires, from all sins and temptations of the devil. Heavenly Father, as You send them out to preach Your glory and witness to Your power, enlighten their hearts with the grace of the Holy Spirit; grant that they may always be obedient to Your commandments as they work to heal and strengthen marriages and proclaim Your forgiveness and love to all. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Shrine of Holy Innocents

The

have just built a beautiful shrine to remember

the loss of your little one

"Gods Great Plan"

In order for us to heal we must bring things to the light. Sometimes when we are hurting we bury the hurt in the crevice between body and soul. We must learn to bring this hurt out into the light for inner healing, whether we journal or share with others in conversation, somehow the written word lasts much longer so that we can reflect more easily on what has been said. As we share with other souls in need we bring great comfort to their needs and our needs. God is so good in His great plan for us, He reaches into our pain that we might be comforted and bring comfort for the light that covers us is His love. In His love we will be healed. Through our pains God has a great plan for all of us and a greater good will follow. You can see this great plan when Christ was crucified the resurrection followed and the Catholic (Universal Christian) Church was born. Our resurrection will come! As we continue to heal, life will unfold, and you will be a new creation!!! Trust in His plan for you it is all good.

We would also like to welcome "Tucked Beneath His Wings" to the family of Hannah's Tears, please check out her beautiful blog site of hope and faith. The title gives such a beautiful visual meditation already as we are tucked beneath his wings God is very close to us. Reach for Him in your suffering he is there and He has many gifts in abundance that He is creating anew in you. Continue to "Thank Him, Love Him and Praise Him", give glory to God through it all.

Another site for you to review, especially good for Lenten reflections
Love you,
Hannah's Tears
* I do not know how to attach links to this post, so I wanted to share the post from All You Who Hope. She will lift your heart as she continues her journey towards Christ and His glorious plan for her life. Please go to "Her faith increased each time I said no" .

Just wanted to remind you one more time that "Barren and Blessed" will be airing at 10:00 A.M. EST on E.W.T.N. or try watching "The Abundant Life" on line.

If you haven't had a chance to view this interview please take time to watch it today, or you can order it through Women of Grace. Please let us know your thoughts and how this interview has helped you. This blog site is meant to support you and where you are today as you bear your cross let us take a moment and unite it with Jesus on the cross. Remember it is in uniting your cross with Jesus that the weight of your cross becomes lighter and sometimes it is in sharing the cross with those who understand that you are freed from your burdens.

"Barren and Blessed"

I pray that you all had a chance to watch EWTN last night called "Barren and Blessed". What a truly beautiful interview! Living His Life Abundantly has brought about the gift of discussion on how Catholic couples endure infertility and how they get through the journey.

If you are unable to view EWTN and would like a copy of the DVD for only $9.98, please click on the title "Barren and Blessed: The Plight of Infertility" . This was an interview you don't want to miss.

Thank you Kristy for your witness and bravery!!!

We at Hannah's Tears have posted Karl's book in the past called "Bearing the Unbearable" . This is a wonderful resource for personal use or using in a support group. Please remember all the suffering that you go through God is using these moments for his greater good. We don't always see the fruits but as we continue to place our suffering at the foot of the cross he will reward you greatly! These are times of great GRACE, keep trusting what God has in store for you and your spouse as you continue to seek His holy will. Our spiritual fertility is the greater gift let us seek HIM always.

2379 The Gospel shows that physical sterility is not an absolute evil. Spouses who still suffer from infertility after exhausting legitimate medical procedures should unite themselves with the Lord's Cross, the source of all spiritual fecundity.
