O Antiphons "God with us"

O Emmanuel, the God with us, he will not leave us orphans, he will not abandon us, he has chosen to dwell amongst us, poor and sinful and struggling as we are, that speaks so of the greatness of the love of our God.

Emmanuel God with us, with us in his Holy Word, speaking to us, guiding us, challenging us, consoling us.... Emmanuel God with us, he is with us in the Holy Sacrament and especially the Holy Sacrament of the altar, God among his people.

Emmanuel God with us, he is with us in our pain and suffering, for it is his own pain and suffering, Emmanuel God with us, let us give thanks to God... and soon, soon to be reborn in our midst this Christmas, a tiny babe... he alone can save us, he alone can rescue us from the sorry plight that we are in, why seek peace, meaning, love where it is not to be found, but rather let us turn to him with total faith and trust, for HE IS WITH US !!!!

O Emmanuel our king and lawgiver, the hope of all nations and their saviour; come and save us, O Lord our God.
